Council Tax Ledger is a static website. It has no accounts, no forms that store data and no advertising or analytics cookies. The council lookup on the home page runs entirely in your browser; what you type is not sent to us.
Server logs
Our hosting provider records the IP address, requested page, time and browser type of each request in standard server logs for security and capacity planning. Logs are kept for no more than 30 days.
If you write to us we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to answer and for up to two years afterwards. We do not share it.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you and request its correction or deletion. Contact [Operator company] at [email protected]. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Council Tax Ledger shows the average area council tax for 2026/27 for a dwelling occupied by two adults with no discounts, as published by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government. Parish precepts vary within a district, so your bill may differ. Not financial advice.
