What the figures are

Each amount is the area council tax for a dwelling occupied by two adults, as published by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government in March 2026: the billing authority's own charge plus the precepts of the county council or Greater London Authority, the police, the fire and rescue authority, any combined authority and the average parish precept in the area. Band D is the reference band; the other seven are fixed fractions of it, from six ninths (Band A) to eighteen ninths (Band H). Read the method.
